Katy joins NCEE after a distinguished career as an educator in Arizona, including roles as a Curriculum Specialist (ELL), Elementary School Principal, Middle School Principal, Assistant Superintendent, and Interim Superintendent of the Scottsdale Unified School District. In addition, Katy was the Executive Director of Stand for Children, Arizona. Most recently, she was a consultant to the Center for the Future of Arizona, where she organized and worked with teacher focus groups regarding the Move-On-When-Ready initiative.
