Rich is the Treasurer and Chief Financial Officer of NCEE. He is also the CFO and Director of Strategic Partnerships for NCEE’s subsidiary, the National Institute for School Leadership. He has played these roles since returning to NCEE in 2007. Rich began his career with Price Waterhouse, the international accounting and management consulting firm, where he was an auditor and CPA from 1981 to 1984. He then became a management consultant with Price Waterhouse, working with public and private sector firms including Fortune 500 companies, governmental entities, non-profits and school districts from 1984 to 1990. He joined NCEE the first time in 1990 as its CFO and become Vice President in 1996. Rich left NCEE in 1999 to start a private consulting practice focused on helping schools to improve student achievement through strategic planning, better resource allocation and creating high trust cultures.
